I don't get it.

dearest mr shock, if you don't get it you're one lucky person!

(actually i DO think it's a satire on pedophilia. which, by the way, i don't think is a very funny subject AT ALL)

It's not so much a satire on paedophilia as a satire on the online fetish for "young amateur girls" - teens. If you check your email spam you'll probably see hundreds of adverts for the stuff.

As for what's funny, well, that's subjective, but I think that since the purpose of satire is to draw attention to a touchy subject and mock it... why complain? CP is evidently an attack on something you dislike.

i didn't complain i said i didn't think it funny

i sure as hell hope you don't come back in your next life as a child who gets attacked by a big smelly hairy 250 lb man who shoves his tongue (among other things) down your throat. perhaps then you wouldn't think 'satire' on pedophilia funny either. or, perhaps you WILL retain your sense of humor on this subject.

Lets ignore whether you think its funny or not for a second. Why, if you find it disturbing and reeking of pedophilia in a damaging way, haven't you brought it up with the artists themselves? The project is specifically designed to elicit discussion, and concerns such as yours are a legitimate part of that discussion. I'm not saying don't post here about it, but just wondering why you didn't also fire off an e-mail to the owners of the site? (got here via glenda)
