Al Qaeda Urges Muslims In America To Exploit Gun Loopholes To Attack ‘Enemies Of Islam’

By Ben Armbruster

Congress is currently looking at two important fixes to keep guns out the hands of people shouldn’t have them. First, fixing the private sale loophole. In many states, attendees of gun shows and flea markets can negotiate private sales to purchase a firearm — including assault rifles — from unlicensed dealers without being subjected to a federal criminal background check. And second, individuals on the federal terrorist watch list are not excluded from purchasing firearms in the United States.
Last week, American-born al-Qaeda spokesmen Adam Yahiye Gadahn urged the terrorist group’s followers to exploit this so-called “terror gap“:
Muslims in the West have to remember that they are perfectly placed to play an important and decisive part in the jihad against the Zionists and crusaders and to do major damage to the enemies of Islam, waging war on their religion, sacred places and things and brethren...........

we can ALL be ourselves and still fit in somewhere

here are but TWO

Michele Bachmann Said What!?

Your guide to the Minnesota firebrand's most outrageous, outlandish, and out-there remarks.
2003: Bachmann, then a state senator, explains why she doesn't agree with the theory of evolution: "Where do we say that a cell became a blade of grass, which became a starfish, which became a cat, which became a donkey, which became a human being? There’s a real lack of evidence from change from actual species to a different type of species. That's where it's difficult to prove." Don't even get her started on how a bill becomes a law.
2003: Bachmann sends out a Christmas Card advertising the availability of her youngest son, Lucas: "Chick magnate [sic] needs wife to put him through med school, clean house, pay bills and run his life. Must be willing to gamble against onslaught of socialized medicine diminishing return on investment."...................

Palin fans attempt to rewrite Paul Revere’s Wikipedia page | The Raw Story
By David Edwards
Sarah Palin supporters are literally attempting to rewrite history after she flubbed the story of Paul Revere's ride last week last week, taking to Wikipedia with their own revisions to the beloved story in an effort to make Palin's version look true.
"He who warned the British that they weren't going to be taking away our arms uh by ringing those bells and making sure as he's riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be secure and we were going to be free and we were going to be armed," Palin explained to reporters in Boston, Massachusetts Thursday.
But Wikipedia didn't back up Palin's suggestion that Revere's mission was to warn the British or that he rang bells in the process so her fans tried to update the page.............

this IS my kind o' theater

i too cannot abide by someone talking on the phone in places where they should NOT be (as an example at work last week, i walked into the loo. there was a woman in there on her cell phone. i washed my hands and kept glaring at her. she did NOT get the hint. so in the cute gentle voice i have - NOT - i said, 'go ahead and finish your conversation. i'll come back when YOU are done. sorry to have disrupted you'. really, that is rudeness squared) or texting (we had a two day class last week at work. a friend of mine was texting the WHOLE two days. right in front of the facilitator, who by the way was an outside hired contractor. i wanted to say something to the texter, but i didn't.) i use my phone, don't get me wrong, but i don't think it's at inappropriate times.

She texted. We kicked her out.

As many of you know, I really can't abide people who talk during a movie. A couple of years ago I was accosted in the Village parking lot by a patron who was warned for talking in a movie. I've nearly come to blows more than a few times over the years with rude customers over the same issue. When we adopted our strict no talking policy back in 1997 we knew we were going to alienate some of our patrons. That was the plan. If you can't change your behavior and be quiet (or unilluminated) during a movie, then we don't want you at our venue. Follow our rules, or get the hell out and don't come back until you can.  ...............

she will NEVER EVER admit she was wrong. she is ignorant and wrong MOST of the time. it's that simple

Palin defends Revere comments

She insists her narrative is accurate

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin took to the airwaves yesterday to defend assertions, made during a visit to the North End on Thursday, that Paul Revere’s iconic ride was as much to warn to the British as it was to warn American colonists of an impending British attack on arms stores.  ppearing on Fox News Sunday, Palin bristled when anchor Chris Wallace suggested she had erred in her retelling of Paul Revere’s role in the event leading up to the Revolutionary War.

“You realized that you messed up about Paul Revere, don’t you?’’ said Wallace.
But Palin defended her previous statement on the purpose of Paul Revere’s famous ride.
“You know what? I didn’t mess up about Paul Revere,’’ said Palin, a paid Fox News contributor and possible GOP presidential candidate. “Part of his ride was to warn the British that we’re already there. That, hey, you’re not going to succeed. You’re not going to take American arms.’’........
