tracey was a young woman with a child living in torrington connecticut. on many occasions she called the police to report abuse and threats by her husband. the police did little IF anything.
tracey was brutally attacked (slashed to pieces) by her husband. she lived but had and still to this day (MANY years later) severe injuries. tracey sued torrington and WON (2 million i believe). so now our state arrests ANYONE (man OR woman) who they think has perpetrated domestic abuse. NO IFS ANDS OR BUTS. it's a GREAT law.
