Working woman ‘too busy’ to be reliable witness, Canadian judge claims

The mayor of Ottawa, Canada’s capital, was recently acquitted of corruption charges partly because the judge determined that a female witness — an elected official with a four-year-old daughter — was too busy to be a reliable witness...........

Malicious Intent said...: Yeah, but even if I get called to duty, especially if I am a witness...I am going to do everything in my power to do my duty. I had to bail once...and I felt HORRIBLE about it...fortunately it was as a juror and I may not have even been selected. God forbid if I was a witness. I have been there before and would do it again.
