Fox TV had a big decision to make: Go ahead with the season premiere of a dancing show, or postpone it an hour or so to broadcast the President of the United States giving an address to a rare joint session of Congress to talk about the defining issue of his presidency — health care.

What? Didn't you watch Footloose...our very liberty and freedom to Dance could be at jeopardy here. I am sure there is a dance issue that must take precedence over the President. Right?

Fox "News" has about as much journalistic integrity as the National Enquirer. That pathetic excuse for a news network is nothing but a propaganda organ for the far-far right. Fox is to the Republican Party what Pravda was to the old Soviet government. Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, and Gretchen Carlson don't even have journalism degrees---what the hell are they doing on a supposed news network? The fact that they are not even bothering to cover a major presidential address shows they have nothing but contempt for the American public and our political system as well. Rupert Murdoch and all his commentators are charlatans, and they turn TV news into a cesspool of biased filth.
not much more i can add to what you've both said (although i must say i don't think one needs a journalism degree to report the news. i DO think one needs a soul and heart and brain though)
