Uhhh yeah. When I called for an MRI of my knees, because at age 39, after a knee surgery, and I could not get up and down off of my own toilet without screaming (yeah, screaming) get up and down off of my floor, in and out of my car (had to drag my own leg into my car) walk with a cain, braces, meds (that no longer worked) and was up all night in incredible pain. They tried to say the MRI was medically necessary. But once I wasted my time and my insurance money on an xray which provided NO evidence whatsoever, they let me have one, that and after three letters from there different doctors and a call to the state Insurance Commissioner. Makes me f'n sick. $1270 a month and I have to fight for something that is so obvious I need. For the record, xrays are only good for when you break a bone. They will not show up problems very well if at all with arthritis, joint problems or other soft tissue issues. Even if hey do, it's not good enough to see exactly what is going on and you will need an MRI anyway. Now that is a waste of money.
