One of the best ever . . . that's for sure.
But the most influential? I can think of at least one by Bob Dylan, another by Johnny Cash, and a couple by Pink Floyd that measure up.
never was a big pink floyd fan but i sure am a dylan fan and a cash fan. oh there have been multiple that measure up - i agree with you rick.
what upsets me most about the music biz (same with acting too i guess) is people like the brittneys of the world make cazillions of dollars when people like elizabeth cotten or little willie john (and the like) who built a mighty american musical foundation die in obscurity.
