He just keeps going and going, doesn't he? A real National Treasure!
we were listening to pandora the other day and a friend (who is quite musically informed i might add) asked who was singing. i said pete seeger. he had NEVER heard of him before and was transfixed. after the song, he called his father in law who is a music collector. his fil of course had tons of seeger and was going to hook him up! it felt wonderful to see someone's (much younger than i) eyes light up the first time they heard pete seeger. i also gave him a bit of a lesson on what kind of person mr seeger is.
Have him check out that album of Spanish Civil War songs he put out in like 1938. It's way cool.
