a lot of people here

and in other cultures and countries across the world - think domestic abuse is no big deal, a way of life.

U.S. Signals Spouse Abuse Claims Could Lead to Asylum

By JULIA PRESTON
In an unusually protracted and closely watched case, the Obama administration has recommended political asylum for a Guatemalan woman fleeing horrific abuse by her husband, the strongest signal yet that the administration is open to a variety of asylum claims from foreign women facing domestic abuse. If the women in the middle east were to ever wake up and realize the men and their religion were treating them like cattle, we will have lots of folks to welcome in.

Clearly the solution is to give asylum to domestic violence victims while deporting our own abusers to countries where they would be, shall we say, a better fit with the social milieu.

That way we gain more productive members of society and get rid of a lot of useless shite.
