Sgt Hicham Benkabbou and surprisingly NO american msm (i looked at two pages of hits) was there. why not? is it because he was born in morocco? is it because he's muslim? could be, BUT he's also been serving IN THE UNITED STATES ARMY (paratrooper) in AFGHANISTAN.
why did i look his name up? well, because upon his return to the united states FROM HIS POSITION AS A PARATROOPER IN THE UNITED STATES ARMY, STATIONED IN AFGHANISTAN, THERE IS A CHANCE FOR HIM TO BE DEPORTED
thanks for serving america hicham, but don't like the door hit you in the ass when we kick you out

I hate to say it but I've seen other kicked out as suddenly. One guy was from Jamaica and the other from Mexico. No, it is not right in any case but I have to say his being muslim probably makes no difference. His best chance is to get his senator involved. It has worked in other cases.
i know it's happened before. it's such a shame. they fight in the AMERICAN SERVICE. they deserve AUTOMATIC CITIZENSHIP
We live in a nation which no longer has a soul. These kinds of things can't happen when a nation has a conscience and is led by moral men exhibiting moral behavior.
you hit it rick. NO SOUL AT ALL. dead inside. rotted inside
The thing that I find most amazing in these cases were some bureaucratic "T" wasn't crossed or "i" doted is that these people want to serve and feel an obligation to give something back to the country. This is in stark contrast to Americans born here who never serve and refuse to push their children into the service even though THEY may give lip service to supporting the troops and agree with Bush that the country is in a war. Fighting is for someone else's children to do. As Rick said the country, with very few exceptions, has lost it's soul. When that happens God, destiny, history, the universe, or who or whatever usually has a surprise coming for such people.
you got it bb. i never wish anyone ill (i really don't). why? what goes around comes around. as you said, karma, the gods or whatever gets 'em in the end
