Archie Fisher wrote Dark Eyed Molly (though I think he doesn't do that song anymore himself, which is why no youtube for that one), and, incidentally, the label he recorded it for is based over in Sharon.
Stan Rogers did probably its most famous cover till Eva Cassidy came along and sold a zillion rekkids.
Don't mind me, I used to get paid to know this stuff...

i usually know the origins of a song i like. i'm embarrassed to say i didn't in this case.
