FroliCat BOLT: A Laser Lightshow For Cats
Yay, two laser posts in a row! The $17 FroliCat BOLT is an award winning laser lightshow for cats with owners who are too lazy to wave a laser pointer around or have lost the use of their limbs.
Simply turn it on and projects a red dot and moves it in random patterns for 15 minutes, or until your cat (or dog, or baby) realizes what's going on and attacks the gadget itself...........

Both of my cats are hardcore laser beam fiends. All I have to do is get it out and show them the pointer itself...and they go apeshit.
They chase the beam with insane furor. I almost feel bad for them that they will NEVER catch it....but they don't seem to mind that small detail.

So let me get this straight. The purpose of this free-standing, laser beam emitting technology is to allow cats to "entertain" themselves while their human slaves, erm, companions are off doing more important things.
Did it never occur to these people that technology is adaptable, possibly even without the use of opposable thumbs? Would you leave the large hadron collider just lying around so your cats could play with it? No.
What are they thinking?
like i told lemmy, i'd leave at least one eye open at all times. no, i'd not live the collider laying about for cats, dogs OR birds (didn't a bird just drop a crumb of bread into something big and mess it up?) to play with.
