A Danish PSA has managed to trivialize violence against women to a degree unrivaled by our fashion industry, mainstream media and most irritating comedians (and all those people try really hard). HitTheBitch.com gives you a big, meaty hand with which to slap around a scantily dressed, sad-faced model who jabbers at you accusingly in Danish while sad rap music plays in the background.

Sadly....a co-worker came in today with a broken arm. Domestic violence. Our lovely local judicial system let her husband go already too because "there was no room at the jail for lesser offenses".

i'm no longer a boss (and i LOVE it like that)
when i was, i had a woman who worked for me that used to come in roughed up all the time. i was told by hr i was NOT ALLOWED to ask her if she was getting beaten up. i COULD tell her our counseling service was available. period. no more than just saying that
eff that, i asked her straight out. she denied it but i gave her the big long speech i have. then i gave her a ton of contact info. i even told her i'd drive her to a shelter i knew.
once it starts, it doesn't stop
