Comparing the "I want to get married" marches with the "The country is falling apart" marches seems kinda...wrong.
At the very least, the former is "Me me me" and the latter isn't.
Comparing the COVERAGE of the marches is the point. And it was made beautifully. Stewart is hysterical.

the former isn't ME ME ME. i am not interested in marrying someone of my own gender YET I'M VERY MUCH PRO EQUAL RIGHTS. that means in everything including marriage. how the hell is it going to hurt YOU if two people of the same gender marry? (i really don't want an answer. it's rhetorical). what is me me me about a group of people (not all of who are gay by the way) wanting, no demanding fairness for ALL?
