there are two things i have to say:
MORE PLUMBING LESS LAUGHING
and
jerry falwell and i together say: blow 'em all away in the name of the lord!!!
-lady rose of hartfordshire
(to be fair, I've worked in over 75 food and beverage plants in the U.S. alone, plus some municipalities systems and the Red Cross's blood storage facilities. Automation and Controls work is everywhere)
I was the guy who designed and programmed the factory lines . . . I worked for a consulting firm and I'd do 10 to 20 projects a year. 100 hr. weeks and months on the road living out of a suitcase. It burned me out and I never want to go back to it . . . but yeah, I have a lot of stories that came from that time.
Oh and those assembly lines - - just think of the best factory footage from Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. Those machines worked so smoothly because of me.
i know what kind of hours consultants work. we even have them in the in-surance biz. everyone thinks i'm bad cause i send my work emails at 3am ish. THEY (the consultants) send them 24/7. 11 pm, 1 am, all day, all night.
