Aw, makes me think of the moose from "Northern Exposure" my favorite show.

I'm compiling a Corruptco link page...just taking some time today!

dearest fatrobot, i've never seen a moose in real life. i may take a ride up to hartland this weekend in hopes they are still about

dearest lily, i too loved northern exposure. i think my favorite was the wedding crane origami episode. i had a friend heidi (yes her name was heidi even though she was of japanese descent. i refused to call her heidi, i just called her by her last name which was VERY japanese. even when she got married and took her husband's last name (even funnier than heidi, hell i shouldn't talk about last names. mine is a million letters long with LOTS of vowels.....) at any rate, when heidi got married in her home state of hawaii,, she had to make all of the cranes too.

i celebrate grrrls day on 3/3 and boys day on 5/5. two other japanese holidays

i've seen a bear though! twice. they were not giant, but i still wouldn't mess with them. they were black bears but they were small. two separate occasions two separate connecticut towns. both rural though

Moose are strange and beautiful creatures. They, not the bald eagle, ought to be on the money. Really beautiful photos. I don't think of Connecticut having a lot of moose, but this makes it look like the state has an absolute moose problem. Good for Connecticut!

i hear we get one or two from time to time vanx. hartland, where these were taken is REALLY rural. it's up route 44 a might.

At parents home, about a half an hour from Canada, we get moose walking through our yard quite a bit. It is a beautiful site
