i happened to hear this dude being interviewed on npr

on my way home from work the other day (it was a VERY long day. i usually leave early because i get in at about 3:30 am. i had to stay until a bit after 4 pm due to a meeting i HAD to attend. then when i left work i had to go to the grocery store. NOT for MY groceries mind you but for work. i had volunteered to conduct a team building exercise that included lunch. oh, that went well by the way. BUT my point is i was exhausted and i forgot all about hearing this man on npr until i just now came across this..........)

here are but a few

portraits of world leaders
‘Portraits of Power’ is a photo project of Platon, a staff photographer working for The New Yorker.
He took great portraits of various presidents, prime ministers, dictators… during a meeting of the United Nations in New York.
Watch them, it’s interesting, and maybe you will learn some stuff…
