there are two things i have to say:
MORE PLUMBING LESS LAUGHING
and
jerry falwell and i together say: blow 'em all away in the name of the lord!!!
-lady rose of hartfordshire
i loved mcnulty too. and bunk and kima and snoop (man she is scary)and stringer bell and lester and of course walon (steve earle) oh shite, i loved 'em all
Damn....almost forgot about Steve Earle. He was damn good in that show. His album (w/ Del McCoury) called The Mountain is one of the best albums ever. Cause I said so.
Yep...played them all. Played plenty of Dwight too! Met him once before a show as well. Love his music. He is a perfect example of everything that is completely missing on 'top 40' country radio.

Bluegrass!
i'm familiar with earle's work, just not that album.
HOWEVER, THE best bluegrass album EVER EVER EVER is this one: http://www.amazon.com/Will-Circle-Unbroken-30th-Anniversary/dp/B000063686
(and i didn't even know it was a 30th edition! i have vinyl. perhaps it's time to get the cd, no?)
That is a very very strong choice. Know that album quite well. Great music.
I was a disc jockey at a classic country/bluegrass radio station for over 10 years....so I know all that music like the back of my hand. Good stuff.
oh way cool! i hope you got to play patsy and vassar and doc and even dwight yoakam (a thousand miles from nowhere is a fav of mine)
