For all the wrong reasons

Kristin Maguire, chair of the South Carolina State Board of Education, has resigned from her position for all the wrong reasons. She has been a shill for the religious right, and has opposed the teaching of evolution in the public schools; she has also promoted that worthless 'abstinence only' sex education. She should have been fired for basic incompetence. But no, that is not sufficient reason to kick someone out of office in America. What gets American politicians in trouble?
You guessed it: sex...............*it's not ME who thinks sex and erotica and nudity is dirty. just wanted to make that clear

Why folks are so uptight over sex is beyond me. Unless it is a sex crime, such a a pedophile, rape etc....it is something everyone does, it is where you come from, and it is a free form of recreation (using proper protection of course.)
Never did understand all of this sex BS....seems we are back in the Victorian age where you didn't talk about it...only behind closed doors. But on the other hand, we have it splashed all over TV and our advertising. Go figure.
So silly.

Actually, to be fair, the Victorians did practically nothing BUT talk about it. We, however, do nothing but answer to all they had to say...
