the way things are going it only makes sense. then again, NOTHING about the way things are going makes ANY sense. especially the part where we, the american people are allowing the war in iraq to continue. we're not only squandering our money, WE'RE SENDING OUR SONS AND DAUGHTERS TO THEIR DEATHS OR WORSE
at least general shalikashvili recognizes lesbians and gay men CAN be in the military. they are JUST humans with good points and bad points LIKE THE REST OF US. JUST like the rest of us

Shalikashvili, former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has called for the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell, the law that requires lesbians and gays to remain in the closet if they choose to be a member of the nation's armed forces.
