i didn't think so. was the dude who blew up abortion clinics and set a bomb off at the olympics a muslim? i didn't think so. yet, THEY too were terrorists. terror comes in all flavors. radical foaming at the mouth terrorists come in all shapes and sizes. all muslims are not terrorists and all terrorists are NOT muslim. there are plenty of bible-totin' jesus-loves-me type of terrorists out there too. right HERE as our next door neighbors. PLENTY and they scare me MORE than someone in a foreign land

i was under the (mis)belief christians opened their hearts to all. once again, i'm wrong

a shout out to USA TODAY for having the stones to say IN PRINT virgil goode is an ugly american
Rep. defends 'anti-Muslim' letter in USA Today op-ed; Paper slams his 'ugly voice'

Congressman Virgil Goode (Va-Rep) defended himself from anti-Muslim accusations in an Op-Ed published in Wednesday's USA Today. The paper's editorial page slams Goode as an "ugly voice" for his "crude swipe" at Minnesota's Democratic Congressman-elect Keith Ellison and "all Muslims."
Last month, Goode sent a letter to his constituents last month which argued that, "if American citizens don't wake up and adopt the Virgil Goode position on immigration there will likely be many more Muslims elected to office demanding the use of the Koran."
Keith Ellison has been newly elected to Congress and plans to use the Koran during his personal swearing in ceremony..........

..............Goode's Op-Ed raised the specter of the 9/11 attacks.
"Let us remember that we were not attacked by a nation on 9/11; we were attacked by extremists who acted in the name of the Islamic religion," Goode wrote. "I believe that if we do not stop illegal immigration totally, reduce legal immigration and end diversity visas, we are leaving ourselves vulnerable to infiltration by those who want to mold the United States into the image of their religion, rather than working within the Judeo-Christian principles that have made us a beacon for freedom-loving persons around the world."
USA Today notes that if "Goode is worried about Muslim immigrants, he's about 260 years too late in Ellison's case," since "Ellison traces his ancestors to Louisiana in 1742."..........

Of course not all Muslims are terrorists! But while the extremists are very vocal in their highly successful attempts at the Islamification of the west, the moderates are virtually silent. The strength of America may come from the separation of church and state, but unless that separation is strengthened, it may very well be our undoing.

If that were true, then no Mormon could as well (this is a subject about which I am an expert).

Goodbye Mitt Romney.
