LIMBAUGH: This is a tough thing to say, because a lot of people don't want to hear this, because it goes against everybody's desire that we all be the same, that there be no pain in life and that there be no suffering and that everybody do well and that everybody have what they want and so forth.
But there is no equality. You cannot guarantee that any two people will end up the same. And you can't legislate it, and you can't make it happen. You can try, under the guise of fairness and so forth, but some people are self-starters, and some people are born lazy. Some people are born victims. Some people are just born to be slaves. Some people are born to put up with somebody else making every decision for them...........

So Limbaugh says that people are "waiting for Obama to fix things"... "waiting for the government to fix it". "Not the slightest idea that they hold the single greatest power over their destiny...That's not taught anymore".
What's religion, Mr. Limbaugh? Why do people pray? This idea that people largely control their own destiny, that's the new idea!
The problem is that Americans are too inclined to blame themselves when things go wrong and allow governments to deliberately create a large Reserve Army of Labour and govern for the whims of currency speculators first and decide that this is out of their control, that their problems are their own fault when the authorities create a more unfriendly environment for ordinary people.
Like Glenn Beck, Limbaugh is now hailing what I call the god of torture and revelling in that... no one has plans that everyone be exactly the same.
"Some people are just born to be slaves" is something that is not only a justification slavery but there's an implication that blacks would be better off in their "traditional role".
Now he celebrates people "profiting from" a depression... In other words, celebrating the lowest form of life.
If I didn't know any better, he is saying that these "self-starters" are supermen programmed from birth.
If everybody's needed for something then everyone is entitled to be treated well and live well, for mistreating needed people is foolishness. So I guess he is arguing for socialism there.
I never knew that presidents personally attach the seals on the podium. So if one of those supermen CEOs fires someone for a miscue Limbaugh would cry about how he blames other people for his problem. But then we must remember, this is a superman we're talking about, that can't be so!
And some people are just born assholes.
anon, thanks for stopping by. i agree with you here but have to say it much simpler, as debra said, he IS an asshole (and i'm being kind)
