Guilhermina Suggia (1885-1950)

 

Guihermina Suggia was a Portuguese cellist. She studied in Leipzig under Julius Klengel.
From 1907 to 1913 she lived and worked in Paris with fellow cellist Pau Casals. In 1914
she moved to London . She was a well-known musician, particulary because
a female cello soloist was a rarity back then..............
