I don't really understand what people are expecting in the way of quote unquote rage. Consider FDR's radio address on the occasion of Pearl Harbor, if we make that a 10 on the scale of 1-10...
The bottom line is that rage does not play well in front of the cameras -- it makes a person look like an unhinged idiot, as Fox News constantly demonstrates. So why would we want that in the Oval Office?
