when THEY do it (you know, lie, commit treason, commit a felony, spit on the constitution, go against everything that IS america, and on and on and on), it's NOT a sin. it's just fine because they 1) are conservative and/or 2) have god on their side.

To Oliver North, I have three words for you: Iran Contra Affair

So right after Sean Hannity was yanked from the Cincinnati tea-bagger rally by angry Fox News executives, he hosted a show on which guest Oliver North had this to say about the POTUS:

In discussing the current tension between the Obama administration and the Israeli government (of which Hannity does not approve), Hannity pitched Lt. Col. North a standard, almost rhetorical question on his program: “Is President Obama emboldening America’s enemies?” North responded with a scathing critique of President Obama’s foreign policy:

“This president is willing to be obsequious to our adversaries, to denigrate our allies, and essentially to walk away from the only real democracy in that part of the world. And no one can say he’s big on oil, because he’s not in the oil business, so what is it? It is his core philosophy of being anti-American.”

Okay, let me see if I understand this. North committed treason by selling weapons to Iran, our then (and now) designated enemy. Oh, and Israel shares that enemy in common with us by the way. North used the profits from these illegal arms sales to fund terrorism in Central America. This money funded a rag-tag collection of terrorists known as the Contras, who in turn used the money to wage an illegal proxy war against the democratically elected government of Nicaragua. .........
