i've always felt the way we treat animals is a damn good indication of how we treat one another (and NOTHING you say will EVER make me change my mind, so don't bother)

it's not easy reading. it's not easy to think about. it sure as hell isn't easy to do (go undercover that is). i couldn't do it. i can't even go to a pound or animal shelter without becoming a gelatinous mass of tears and quiver
