so don't belong to a church or a religion

that would do this to you IF it (the sacraments that is) means so much to you?

i was raised a catholic but left a LONG time ago. i didn't buy in. i know a LOT of people who are catholics though. i know most of them practice birth control (at the very least). i know a lot of them don't accept all of the church's teachings and rulings and bizarre antics (you know which antics i'm speaking of).

why not worry about caring for the PEOPLE that are HERE and NOW instead of worrying about OTHER things? that's what i say

Because of his support for reproductive rights, Rep. Patrick Kennedy has been banned from taking communion by Roman Catholic Bishop Thomas Tobin.

The Providence Journal reports on its website that Kennedy was told by the bishop not to take communion in his diocese, given his support of abortion rights. The Catholic Church holds that life begins at conception, and that abortion is wrong.
