it's not that i care who the hell he's boinkin'

update update update: from 6/20:
whoo hoo the story just keeps getting better and better

(or NOT boinkin') it's that i care he has a holier than thou attitude. i care because he believes in the sanctity of marriage soooooooooooooo much, he bumped boots with a married woman (that's a sin in his pentecostal church, no?). i care when he tries to have the rights and freedoms of people (as in 'the gays') squashed. i care when he tells another man who had an affair that man must resign (yet he doesn't call for the resignation of yet another man of his OWN party to resign after an admitted affair).

i care when someone is a hypocritical gatsu piedi

FLASHBACK: Ensign Called On Clinton To Resign After Admitting Affair — ‘He Has No Credibility Left’

By Nate Carlile
The Washington Post’s Chris Cillizza reports that Sen. John Ensign (R-NV), a member of GOP leadership and a potential candidate for president in 2012, will hold a press conference later today in which he will acknowledge having an extramarital affair “with a campaign staffer who was married to an employee in Ensign’s Senate office.” Ensign flew back to Las Vegas to make the public announcement.

Since his election to the Senate in 2000, Ensign has been a leading conservative voice who demanded the resignation of former Idaho Sen. Larry Craig in September 2007. Ensign called Craig a “disgrace” after he was arrested in June 2007 in an airport men’s restroom on disorderly conduct charges. But when Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) acknowledged having an affair, Ensign didn’t call on him to resign...........

..............

In 1998, while running for Nevada’s Senate seat against Harry Reid, Ensign called on President Clinton to resign in light of his admitted affair with former White House intern Monica Lewinsky:

“I came to that conclusion recently, and frankly it’s because of what he put his whole Cabinet through and what he has put the country through,” Ensign said Thursday, becoming the first member of the Nevada delegation to call for Clinton to quit. “He has no credibility left.”.............

and here's a lil' somethin' somethin' from the 'mistress'. who is all in a huff because her family and her rep are muddied. well sistah grrrlfren cindy, if you wanna dance YOU FUCKIN' GOTTA PAY THE PIPER (so to speak)

Ensign's Former Treasurer Acknowledges Affair With Senator

By Paul Kane
Washington Post Staff Writer
A Las Vegas area woman who once worked for Sen. John Ensign of Nevada acknowledged yesterday that she was the senator's mistress in an extramarital affair that has cost the onetime emerging GOP star his spot at the leadership table with Senate Republicans. Cynthia L. Hampton, who was treasurer for Ensign's political committees, said she had an affair with the senator that lasted more than eight months. Her statement was issued by an attorney retained by her and her husband, Douglas D. Hampton, who also served as one of Ensign's most senior advisers.

The Hamptons declined to comment further, requesting privacy as they consider how to address the issue in the near future, said Daniel Albregts, a personal-injury lawyer in Las Vegas.

"It is unfortunate the Senator chose to air this very personal matter, especially after the Hamptons did everything possible to keep this matter private. It is equally unfortunate that he did so without concern for the effect such an announcement would have on the Hampton family............................

I don't understand all these double standards.
I also don't understand why any one cares what the gay and lesbians do with their lives or why they do not deserve the very same right and privileges that the rest of law abiding society enjoys.

Shouldn't folks being keeping their eye on the ball, the big balls...like Iran and Korea, world hunger, lack of safe drinking water, education for all and climate change. How in the hell is the gay couple next door wanting medical insurance affecting my life??? Frankly, they are some of the nicest and coolest folks I know.

fear and ignorance is how

i can't agree with you more.

if you don't want to marry a gay person DON'T!

it's as easy as that. we are all human beings (well most of us). we ALL deserve equality (well MOST of us)
