lil' pi (my laptop) is terminally ill. it's not like i didn't try to save her. i did. i did all i could but there is NO hope. i purchased her a registry fix program (which didn't help like i thought it would) i then purchased her an external hard drive (which not only didn't help but made it worse. ok ok it was partially MY fault. i wasn't paying attention when it was installing and i must have clicked the wrong button because a ton of stuff i didn't want was also installed ON MY HARD DRIVE FURTHER EFFING EVERYTHING UP).
she only has a couple of weeks (if that much) left in her. i've ordered another laptop (no, she will NEVER take the place of lil' pi even though her memory is going to be more than 3 X that of lil' pi) but it's going to take time to build. it won't be delivered until the end of the month. my postings may be sporadic until then. it's very difficult working with lil' pi. she is very very very slow AND her space bar doesn't always work. and a little box always pops up about connecting via dial-up (i'm not on dial up so i don't get it BUT it stops everything i'm doing until i click cancel).
once again, i'll always love her, but she's got to go to bed soon.
so, if you don't hear from me often, not to worry, i'll be back full strength in a few weeks.
