I completely understand and feel really sick to my stomach when real journalists waste time on such stories. Of course be expecting to see much more of our newly repentant Miss USA in the coming months. Realty shows, game shows, or as a "journalist" for the E channel or the one that really bothers me Entertainment Tonight alongside Mary Hart. When I think the major networks could be doing an hour long news broadcast with more in depth coverage of events if some network program director had the courage to bumped ET to late night oblivion. But then we would me missing all the important events in the lives of Brittany Spears, K-fed, Anna Nicole, and thousand of other parasites on society.

i'm not even angry about the entertainment shows (like you though, i DO wish they were bumped into the wee hours). i'm angry this was EVERYWHERE. in legitimate news outlets.
