this subhuman terrorist SHOULD NOT

be allowed in the united states. there are innocent americans (and innocent people of other nationalities) who are somehow on no-fly lists. there are innocents who are on all sorts of lists. yes this subhuman, who we all KNOW is a murdering swine (and i mean NO offense to swine) is being allowed here, on our soil. i don't give a flying fuck if he gloats about the release of another murderer or not. that's NOT the point. the point is KEEP THAT FUCKER OUT OF MY COUNTRY now and FOREVER. lockerbie is just more icing on a blackened cake oozing disease, corruption, venereal disease, murder, torture, rape and worse. he's evil. if i believed in the devil, it would be gaddafi

U.N. Envoy Advises Gaddafi Against Exulting Over Agent's Release

Washington Post Staff Writer

UNITED NATIONS, Sept. 2 -- As Libyan leader Moammar Gaddafi prepares to make his first trip to the United States since taking power 40 years ago, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations urged him Wednesday not to gloat over the release of a Libyan secret service agent convicted in the Lockerbie jetliner bombing.

Scottish authorities last month released Abdel Basset Ali al-Megrahi, the only person convicted in connection with the 1988 bombing of Pan Am Flight 103, which killed 270 people, 189 of them Americans. He is dying of cancer, and authorities said they released him for humanitarian reasons. His case has long been a priority for Libyan officials, and Megrahi was greeted by cheering crowds when he arrived in Tripoli, Libya's capital............

if this doesn't hit the nail on the head

i don't know what does.

i have NO issues with being spied upon IF IT'S DONE WITHIN THE LAW. if you (the government) think i'm a bad bad bad person (i'm really not by the way), then get a judge to sign a warrant and wiretap me. THAT is acceptable to me. what isn't acceptable to me is spying on your own citizens for NO REASON and with NO warrant. what isn't acceptable to me is the united states of america torturing people. what isn't acceptable to me is the united states of america holding prisoners with NO charges, NO rights, NO contact with the outside world. what isn't acceptable to me is our government being friends with some terrorists (let's just use gaddafi as an example) yet accusing OTHERS of being terrorists and having no contact with them. what's not acceptable to me is believing in the rapture. what's not acceptable to me is letting your citizens go hungry, go without shelter, go without education, go without health care.

what was in NO WAY acceptable no way at all acceptable to me was the king george administration period. i want them to be held accountable for ALL OF THEIR CRIMES

Illegal, and Pointless

We’ve known for years that the Bush administration ignored and broke the law repeatedly in the name of national security. It is now clear that many of those programs could have been conducted just as easily within the law — perhaps more effectively and certainly with far less damage to the justice system and to Americans’ faith in their government.

That is the inescapable conclusion from a devastating report by the inspectors general of the intelligence and law-enforcement community on President George W. Bush’s warrantless wiretapping program. The report shows that the longstanding requirement that the government obtain a warrant was not hindering efforts to gather intelligence on terrorists after the 9/11 attacks. In fact, the argument that the law was an impediment was concocted by White House and Justice Department lawyers after Mr. Bush authorized spying on Americans’ international communications...........

this is what i'm talking about

our new best friends over in libya. they're STILL terrorists. no two ways about it. they're STILL monsters. i don't care how much money they toss at us or at a teeny tiny fraction of those they wronged. i am a great proponent of talking. talking even with someone who may be our enemy if it will save lives. talk is one thing. being best buds and putting your arm around someone's shoulders is quite another matter indeed.

do not EVER forget not only WAS gaddafi a terrorist HE STILL THE HELL IS!

Forgotten In Libya's Dungeons
By Mohamed Eljahmi

Today, Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi, the son of Libyan Col. Moammar Gaddafi and the regime's point man in dealing with the United States, is scheduled to meet with Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice at the State Department. The visit by Saif, who also heads the Gaddafi Foundation, will be the first trip to Washington by a member of Moammar Gaddafi's immediate family. Sadly, it comes as Libyan democratic dissidents suffer in the dungeons of his father, their plight ignored by the State Department.

After nearly five years of engagement with the United States, Gaddafi rules supreme in Libya and enjoys renewed legitimacy at home and abroad. The United States, which in 2006 removed Libya from its list of state sponsors of terrorism, has failed to push consistently for meaningful reform. Libya has no domestic opposition worthy of the name. There are no domestic constraints to keep Gaddafi from reverting to his old ways. Dissidents continue to disappear, and the death squads organized by Gaddafi's Revolutionary Committees remain a terrorizing force within Libyan society...
