The "Pink Shirt" anti-bullying campaign in Canada was invented by a teenager in the Maritimes who saw a kid get bullied at school for wearing a pink shirt. He organized a whole bunch of kids to show up at school the next day wearing pink shirts to send a message to the bullies. And then the whole school wore pink shirts. Now it has spread across the country. A real demonstration of the change that can come when good people just don't stand silently by in the face of discrimination.
quite moving indeed. now if only..................a lil' pink would seep across the border
Unfortunately everything across the border is viewed by too many Americans as socialist, gay, French or Muslim.
hell, 'they' view stuff within their borders as all that and more too!
