Didn't they just fine affiliates over a million bucks for showing some buttocks on a 2003 Hill Street Blues episode?

yeah they did. that was prime time. i'm guessing dexter is going to be on past the late news (maybe maybe not. i didn't even look). rules are more lax at that time. HOWEVER, what ever time they broadcast dexter it will be cut to shite

Like I need another t.v. addiction.

Sugar and I cracked out on the entire 4th season of Rescue Me this Saturday (LOVE Denis Leary, he stars and writes the series). That's what happens, I watch episode after episode until I'm in a vegetative trance.

I haven't yet touched The Wire . . . I have 2 full seasons on my laptop, just have to hook it to the television and you can forget about me for a couple days.

(ok i think i sent the following message into outer space, but here it is as a comment in reply to yours)
you (and sugar too) will absolutely FLIP OUT about the dialog in the wire. it is REAL. and i mean it. it is an astounding series that goes far above anything else. no car chases (well there may be one but it's NOT the french connection). the music is all ambient and the focus IS the dialog and the character's relationships. each season focuses on a different thing. some of the same characters of course (especially the police) and some new ones. we'll talk AFTER you watch it. i don't want to ruin ONE second of it for you. oh, it's hard to watch by the way. it AIN'T pretty.

i have never seen rescuse me. i've heard of it. i'm not sure i like leary or not. i've heard some things about him, if true, i'd not want him on my christmas card list. of course i have no way of knowing if they are true or not

i'm like you and sugar rick when it comes to cracked out tv watching. i found a show called 'dead like me' on showtime and watched ALL of the episodes in a very short amount of time. it's no longer on or even on demand. scfi channel had it for a bit but i don't know if it's still on there.
