Tell you what, I'll race you to that point because I think I have a head start on you.
The army is broke the soldiers are broken and still we hear we'll stay until we win. Win what? We are losing so many things. How the hell can we win anything.
Go over to Kos and read about the agreement between McCain and bush over the military tribunals. Shit, the agreement sounds worse than what bush originally wanted. Scares the beejeesus out of you. Should scare all Americans.
Yeah PoP, Not happy with McCain and Graham to say the least. I really have no idea how the leadership is expecting the troops to deal with numerous extended stays, shorter times between rotations, and for the Guard and Reserve more deployments. People use to think the upper level officers in the military treated their troops like plastic soldiers. No, decent, senior officer would ever put his troops through so much without increasing the total army strength to relieve the pressure on them at somepoint. This is insane but thast been said millions of times.

as chance would have it, i ran into a friend on tuesday night i had not seen in a long while. he served in viet nam. all he could do was bite his tongue about iraq. he was so effing angry..............
