i did see the picture the other day

and it struck me because the 'dea' agent had a soul patch AND long hair. i know that's usually NOT how they roll. then i thought perhaps the dude is an undercover officer. hmmmmmmm then it was MIGHTY MIGHTY STUPID to be photographed and be on the front page of newspapers. THEN i saw the BLACKWATER tee and EVERYTHING fell into place. i'm not shocked and i'm not surprised. we have a 'hired hand' government. we ARE getting ready for a takeover by an insane dictator. and if you think it's JUST the dea hiring the mercenaries - you, my dears, ARE SADLY MISTAKEN
(and normally i wouldn't care about this - it's not news to me. i know these guns for hire are everywhere. working for the king and his buds. HOWEVER, when i found out they're trying to delete the picture. well then, that's when i got really interested)

When a California medical marijuana dispensary, Organica Collective, was raided last Thursday by agents of the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency and local police, the Los Angeles Times ran a dramatic story on the incident, accompanied by a set of photographs showing the raid and its aftermath.

According to the Times, witnesses described the DEA agents as "removing computers, medicine and money, and using a steel cylinder battering ram to get into the upstairs bedrooms." When they left four hours later, all that remained was "trash, counters strewn with open and empty glass jars, piles of receipts thrown on the ground, upturned couch cushions, bits of marijuana on the edges of counters and an ATM with its doors torn open and emptied. ... An outdoor vegetable garden had plants uprooted, along with marijuana plants removed by the agents."

However, one particular photograph from the Times story has drawn more attention than anything else......

doubt the american government would find these blackwater sniper mercenaries NOT guilty? let's just say for the sake of argument they WERE found guilty....well if THAT did occur (which it NEVER would have) king george would have overruled everything and declared them sin-less JUST like scooter (who, to the best of my knowledge didn't actually pull a trigger on a rifle and blow off the top of someones head)

BAGHDAD -- Last Feb. 7, a sniper employed by Blackwater USA, the private security company, opened fire from the roof of the Iraqi Justice Ministry. The bullet tore through the head of a 23-year-old guard for the state-funded Iraqi Media Network, who was standing on a balcony across an open traffic circle. Another guard rushed to his colleague's side and was fatally shot in the neck. A third guard was found dead more than an hour later on the same balcony.
Eight people who responded to the shootings -- including media network and Justice Ministry guards and an Iraqi army commander -- and five network officials in the compound said none of the slain guards had fired on the Justice Ministry, where a U.S. diplomat was in a meeting. An Iraqi police report described the shootings as "an act of terrorism" and said Blackwater "caused the incident." The media network concluded that the guards were killed "without any provocation." .............

Webb: Blackwater contracts 'awarded for political reasons'

The security contracts awarded to Blackwater USA in Iraq were done so for primarily political reasons, Senator Jim Webb of Virginia told Joe Scarborogh today on MSNBC's Morning Joe. In an extensive discussion about US foreign policy, Webb brought up the controversy over Blackwater's actions in Iraq and the attempt by congress to bring them under US law. "With respect to Blackwater, we've allowed mercenaries to actually conduct combat operations, and we've never done this before," Webb said. "And they're doing this with no legal structiure over them."
There are also no international agreements that govern the handling of mercanries, Webb said, and it now up to the Congress to decide how best to deal with them, Webb said.
"But the other piece of it, let's be honest about it, a lot of the contracts, under this quasi military functions have been awarded for political reasons, and Blackwater is a really good example of that," Webb added. "That's something like half a billion out of their nearly billion dollar contracts were awarded without proper competition, according to the house committee report last year."
