i want our great land to be safe

i want our people to be safe. i want to protect us from terrorists. both foreign AND domestic (and believe me i'm more afraid of and there is a greater threat from DOMESTIC terrorists). i want all of this badly. i want it all within the bounds and confines of the LAW.

i do NOT want our warriors using rape as a weapon of war as they did/are doing in bosnia and columbia and sudan (and a great many MORE areas). i do not want our warriors to start drafting child soldiers as they do in the congo and elsewhere. i do not want us to turn into the beasts that are running rampant through many other countries.

this is the united states of america. WE DO NOT TORTURE.

we ARE now the savages. we MUST stop this. we MUST repair what we've done. WE MUST BRING THOSE RESPONSIBLE TO JUSTICE
