shoot chile, you too black and/or brown to swim

in MY pool.

more on the douchebag asswipes of the valley swim club (now denying the color of the kid's skin had anything to do with kicking their lil' asses out da pool)
1) another place has offered them the use of their pool (cool)
2) sen arlen specter is gonna investigate this (cool but pretty useless i'm guessing)

not sure if anything will come of that investigation or not, but now we know most members (only THREE members left their kids in the pool when the black and brown kids jumped in) of the valley swim club are racist evil soul-less humanoids

i hope all the white kids who are members of the valley swim club piss and piss and piss and never stop pissing in that pool water

Pool accused of turning away minority kids
Swim club denies any wrongdoing in statement on Web site

HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. - In a statement posted on its Web site Thursday afternoon, a swim club said accusations that it discriminated against a day camp for minority children were untrue. The Valley Club doesn't have the capacity to deal with outside groups and returned money to more than one day camp, the club said.

Alethea Wright, director of Creative Steps, a summer camp for minority children, said the organization paid for weekly swim time at the pool. But during a trip there June 29 some of the children said they heard people asking what "black kids" were doing at the club, Wright said...........

..........Senator issues statement
Sen. Arlen Specter, D-Pa., issued a statement calling the allegations "extremely disturbing" and said he was looking into the matter........

...........Private school lends a hand
Girard College, a private Philadelphia boarding school for children who live in low-income and single-parent homes, has offered to host the children for the summer, and a meeting was scheduled later Thursday to work out the details. "We had to help," admissions director Tamara Leclair told WCAU, a NBC affiliate station. "Every child deserves an incredible summer camp experience."................

Swim club accused of discrimination sics cops on media

By David Edwards and Daniel Tencer

A swimming club in suburban Philadelphia called the police on a Fox television crew attempting to report on allegations the club had rejected inner-city children because of the color of their skin.

More than 60 children enrolled in day-care in the basement of a Northeast Philadelphia elementary school were told to pack up and not return, after the Valley Swim Club in Montgomery County accused them of changing the “complexion” and “atmosphere” of the club.

Most of the children enrolled in the day care are black or Hispanic.

When Fox’s Philadelphia affiliate showed up at the club, “we were ordered off, we were told it’s a private club and we’re not welcome,” Fox reporter Claudia Gomez said.

The Valley Club’s president, John Duesler, said in a statement:There was concern that a lot of kids would change the complexion and the atmosphere of the club.”

One day-care attendee told the NBC affiliate in Philadelphia that he had overheard parents at the club complaining about the new children’s race.............

Swim Club Accused Of
Discrimination

Officials at a daycare accuse a club in Montgomery County of discriminating against the minority kids in their program.

They're inner city children spending the summer in the basement of a Philadelphia elementary school.

But every Monday afternoon, they were supposed to get a welcome break at the Valley Club in Huntingdon Valley, where they'd get to swim for an hour and a half.

But after only one Monday, the plan derailed.

"I get a phone call from the board chair saying, you're no longer going to be able to swim here,” Alethea Wright of Creative Steps, Inc.

She says the board president of the Valley Club didn't explain why. But she says the reason was obvious to her.

"The other members were taking their children out while our children were there swimming,” Wright said.

But she couldn't ignore it after several black children in her daycare program allegedly overheard a white mother complaining.

The daycare had paid for the entire summer upfront, but they got their check for $1,950 back in full..................
