on september 24th. it's the story of the avon mountain accident and those that it effected (far and wide). my friend mark robinson wrote it AND the proceeds from this book are going to a fund for the victims and their families. from what i've read (the first six chapters), it's mighty impressive.

Your friend Mark sounds amazing. This is the first time I have heard about this tragedy. I don't know how I missed this one. So heartbreaking. :(
At least he is able to take something bad and make a good out of it. Goddess Bless him for his strength, courage and compassion to others despite his own pain.
he IS amazing. the book is going to be amazing too (the part i read sure was). he is special. the way mark sees it is, he didn't have a choice. he HAD to do this.
it was a horrific accident. it even made international news. the road (route 44 in avon) is notoriously dangerous. especially the intersection where this occurred. i used to drive over it to and from work for years. i've seen many an accident and i am not making this up, literally thousands of near misses. it's called avon mountain. it's not really a mountain of course but it is an incline and a drop.
