Twas the night before Christmas
And all through [White] House
The creatures were stirring
Including head louse
The neo-cons sat one by one with great air
And looked at their mess with nary a care
They laughed with glee at where they had led
As visions of "victory" floated in their heads
And Cheney at his desk with W in his lap,
Who had just settled down for his afternoon nap.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter
They jumped from their desks to see what was the matter
And "whish" past their eyes what was that mad flash?
Was it, could it, have been making a dash?
Past the secret service and with something in tow
It looked like a sleigh to eyes watching below

Happy Holidays Rose,
A house full of sleeping in-laws that all go home tomorrow evening and a cold beer in my hand is making my joyous right now.
b b, i LOVE my family but i cannot take them two days in a row. i either spend christmas eve alone (on purpose) or with friends (for just a short while). yesterday, i cooked for a while (as i did the day before) then went to exchange gifts with my friends who work at the pub. i love it there on christmas eve because it's smoker's amnesty!!!
it's now christmas morning. i'm going to get dressed and made-up very soon then off to pop's house (same town) to finish my cooking. then the house will be filled with family (and a few friends). it will be lovely.
