but here's where i AGREE with 'em, they say ..Roughly two-dozen tea partyers demanded that their state lawmakers modify textbook standards to "compel the teaching of students in Tennessee the truth regarding the history of our nation and the nature of its government,".............

and i say HELL yeah! they (this ENTIRE nation) would be in for one hell of a wake up if indeed ALL of our textbooks taught the WHOLE truth about the 'founding' of this nation (hint: WE STOLE IT, WE KILLED FOR IT, WE KEPT OTHER HUMAN BEINGS AS SLAVES and that's not the half of it). yeah, teach our kids THE TRUTH PLEASE. THE day that dawned with Sarah Palin's shrill pitch to be counted among Tucson's victims ended with Barack Obama's stirring call to honour the fallen.

Few days have underlined so clearly the contrast between a President and his pretender. By breaking her silence on Thursday, the day Mr Obama addressed the grieving people of Tucson, Ms Palin sought to write herself into his storyline. But did she do so in such a way as to harm her political prospects forever?

Mr Obama spoke movingly of reconciliation, not blame, of America as a family that should speak among itself "in a way that heals, not a way that wounds".

Ms Palin spoke angrily of blame and "blood libel", defending the perpetuation of angry rhetoric even after the tragedy in Tucson.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

so a pharmacist asks a question they KNOW cannot be answered due to confidentiality laws (hell, i know about 'em). they KNOW they med requested is used to stop BLEEDING. SOOOOOOOOOOOO, the pharmacist would allow a woman to BLEED TO DEATH all in good conscience?  yup. that's really neighborly of ya!

If those drugs are possibly being given to women who have had abortions. A nurse practitioner at an Idaho Planned Parenthood called a local Walgreen’s pharmacy to fill a prescription for Methergine, a medicine used to prevent or control bleeding of the uterus following childbirth or an abortion. The pharmacists refused to fill the prescription unless the nurse told her whether or not the patient had an abortion. Because of patient confidentiality laws, the nurse refused to disclose that information, and asked for a referral to another pharmacy. The pharmacist hung up. ............... 

Planned Parenthood files complaint against Nampa pharmacist

NAMPA — Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest has filed a letter of complaint with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy regarding the actions of a Nampa pharmacist.

Idaho Board of Pharmacy Executive Director Mark Johnston confirmed that the board received the complaint alleging that on Nov. 6 a Walgreens pharmacist refused to fill a prescription ordered by one of Planned Parenthood's Boise-based nurse practitioners. The prescription was for a Planned Parenthood patient for Methergine, a medicine used to prevent or control bleeding of the uterus following childbirth or an abortion.

An inquiry to Walgreens' Corporate office seeking comment was not immediately addressed..............

Sarah Palin is being criticized for using the term “blood libel” in a statement casting herself and fellow conservatives as victims of the Arizona shootings, because liberals are mean when they say that violent rhetoric can beget violence. Andrew Breitbart apparently decided to respond, tweeting:

I used ‘blood libel’ because I thought using analogy of lefties at pinball machine in Jodie Foster film ‘The Accused’ was too obscure....................................

Contractor Hid in Iraq for Seven Years Over US Rape Charge

The excellent contracting watchdog, Ms. Sparky, drew my attention to this developing story: A Norfolk, Virginia, man was arrested on a military base in Iraq and brought back to the States in police custody this weekend for allegedly raping a "juvenile female," then hiding out in the Middle Eastern nation as a contractor for the US government.

For seven years.

Norfolk police say Daniel Phillips, 46, was wanted in connection for the rape of an underage girl in 2004 and 2005, but when warrants were issued for his arrest, he secured employment as a military contractor in a computer-related position and left for Iraq, where he stayed until authorities started tracking him in December..............
